A Drying Technique in Middletown

This training session was conducted by our lead Crew Chief, Blaine at our Middletown HQ. The targeted drying is within the blue-taped drying mat. This is a drying technique called "Tinting." During this drying process, the extra air from the Dehumidifier goes directly to the affected/saturated material for faster drying by heating the material, and at the same time, removing excess moisture. This is doubling down on the capabilities of our advanced equipment to minimize the circulation of unwanted water vapor which can cause secondary water damage to previously unexposed contents. The lay-flat poly sheeting used for the "tent" and the duct, are staple products on our service vehicles. we are skilled, equipped, and ready to help.
