Fire Damage – New Britain Home
Fire damage at a New Britain home began in the kitchen. Fires like this fueled by food on the stovetop create a sooty mess and undesirable odor. Damage from the heat, flames, smoke, and odors spread to rooms outside of the kitchen requiring extensive demolition and clean up. SERVPRO of Middletown / New Britain would remove the smoke damaged contents to our warehouse to both make room for the structural rehab and to allow for cleaning of the contents. The dresser in this photo was wiped down with a chemical sponge to remove soot and cleaned with deodorizing solution. This is representative of the excellent work our industry certified technicians can perform.
